Late winner for Ballymacash in top game

BALLYMACASH YM grabbed a late winner in a thrilling South Antrim League Premier Division game with Warren YM.

After taking the lead Ballymacash were 2-1 down, 3-2 up and then 3-3 in an enthralling game. Raymond Kidd, James Campbell, Gary Jess and James Thompson got the goals for the winners with Matty Patton, Craig McCutcheon and Graham Stitt replying for Warren.
Clarke Dempster scored two in Braniel YM's 3-0 win over Bloomfield III and Grant McPherson hit a hat-trick when Lambeg Rangers beat Orangefield OB III 4-1. The Glaston v Ballynafeigh YM game was called off after 51 minutes with Glaston leading 4-0. Work at a nearby drain allowed the water to flow on to the pitch.
Darren Elliott got all four Ballymacash II goals, but they lost 8-4 to Victoria Athletic after trailing 7-2 at half-time in the Division 1 game.
South Antrim stayed on top with a 4-2 win over Stranmillis II and Clonduff YM stayed in touch with a 3-1 win over Clarawood YM. Scorers for Clonduff were Craig Martin Lee Laverty and Johnny Bowes.
First Lisburn also kept pace with the leaders after beating Moira Albion II 4-0 with goals from Keith Lunn, John McClelland, Craig Simpson and Sam Clarke.
In Division 2 three goals for Ryan Stevens and two for Lewis Irwin gave leaders, Braniel YM II a 5-2 win over Glenavy III.
Clonduff YM II had a 4-2 win over FC Utd II with goals from Andrew Stevenson, Stevie Walker, Stuart Greer and Matthew Burns.
Cregagh Wanderers surprisingly lost on the previous Saturday, but they made no mistake this time with a 9-0 win over Lambeg Rangers II. David and William Irvine both scored twice.
Matty McClements got two of the goals in Lisburn Athletic's 5-2 win over Carrowdore YM and a last minute goal from Johnny Smith gave Warren YM II a 3-2 win over Newtown Forest III.
In the Ironside Cup Sandy Row came back from a goal down to beat FC Utd Lisburn 3-1 with Eddie Williamson scoring twice and Dean McAllister getting the other one.
